Services
A complete advisory and transaction capability.
Seven areas of work, scaled to the mandate — from a single assessment opinion to the managed disposal of an entire drinks business.
How instructions are scoped
Every mandate begins with the same two questions: what is actually there, and what is the instructing party trying to achieve. The answers determine which of the services below apply, and in what order.
Most instructions use more than one. A receiver appointed over a distillery will typically need assessment first, then disposal strategy, then transaction support through completion. A brand owner sourcing component stock needs acquisition and diligence together. The services are described separately for clarity, not because they are sold separately.
What every mandate includes
- A written scope agreed before work begins, stating what is and is not included
- A stated basis of assessment, with limitations disclosed rather than buried
- Evidence separated from assertion throughout
- Referral, not opinion, where a matter is legal, tax, excise or customs
- A named director accountable for the mandate from instruction to completion
- Reporting written to survive scrutiny by a third party who was not present
