About Celtica
A premium drinks trading and international supply business.
Celtica trades premium drinks domestically and internationally, both under bond and duty paid. It supplies high-net-worth individuals, and resorts, five-star hotels and bars, with a specialist range of often hard-to-get whiskey, alongside luxury spirits and Champagne. For the trade, it supplies bottled and branded stock, trades Irish whiskey casks and Irish bulk spirit, runs Irish whiskey private-label and bottling programmes through appointed bottling specialists, and develops Irish whiskey brands from concept to market. It also buys surplus and maturing stock, and realises drinks assets for owners, lenders, receivers and their advisers. Celtica is based and managed in Cork.

How Celtica operates
A trader, with specialist support where it adds value.
Celtica trades on its own account and as agent, and holds stock under bond in independent bonded warehouses in Ireland, the Netherlands and France. Bottling, laboratory analysis, legal and title work, and logistics are carried out by appointed specialists, while commercial judgement, transaction management and reporting stay with Celtica.
Celtica's team in Cork covers trading and buying, international buying, finance, warehousing and dispatch, and delivery. Appointed specialists are brought in for bottling, laboratory analysis, legal and title work, and freight, so each transaction combines Celtica's own commercial and operational team with the right outside expertise.
Celtica confirms its capacity — principal, agent or adviser — at the outset of every transaction. International reach is built through established buyer, distributor and commercial relationships, with transactions managed from Cork; Celtica has no offices outside Ireland.
