Celtica

Publication standard

How Celtica publishes.

The standard applied to every Celtica publication, covering attribution, sourcing, evidence, verification, reporting periods and the limits of what Celtica will put in print.

Attribution and dating

Each Celtica publication identifies its publishing entity, reporting period or edition, scope and relevant update status. Named authorship and precise publication dates are used only where they are factually appropriate and supported by the publication record.

Institutional publishing

Research, guides and technical material are generally published institutionally by Celtica. Individual attribution is retained only where a publication genuinely represents named commentary or analysis.

Sourcing

Every publication states what it is derived from. Legal, regulatory and excise statements are correct to the best of Celtica’s knowledge at the time of publication and should be verified against current official sources before a transaction proceeds. Irish whiskey terminology, production requirements and geographical-indication rules should be checked against the current Technical File and applicable legislation.

Evidence

Figures, yields, timelines and worked examples are labelled illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise and supported by a dated source. Completed transactions are distinguished from asking prices and from advertised investment figures, which are not market evidence. Where a claim rests on a single source, that is stated rather than deferred to a footnote.

Verification before release

Every figure in a Celtica market report is checked against a named, dated public source before publication. Figures that cannot be supported are removed rather than softened or estimated, and their removal is recorded in the publication history.

Reporting periods

A report is not issued for a period that has not closed. Where a publication covers conditions up to a point in time rather than a completed period, the data cut-off date is printed on the cover and in the running header.

Limitations

Celtica does not publish price forecasts, projected returns, guaranteed outcomes or transaction values. It does not publish client identities, mandate counts or recovery percentages. Where evidence is unavailable, the material says so rather than estimating.

Assessment scope

Celtica’s published analysis is transaction-led commercial assessment. Celtica does not currently provide standalone formal valuations for lending, audit or accounting purposes, or for third-party reliance. Where a formal valuation is required, Celtica will say so.

Scope

All material is commercial and educational. It is not legal, tax, investment, excise, customs, regulatory or financial advice, an offer to sell, or an invitation to invest.

Editorial responsibility

Celtica’s published material is prepared and reviewed under the responsibility of the Director of Trading & Advisory.

Current reporting is published under Market Intelligence. Durable technical and process material is published in the Commercial Library.
